Cyanine dyes exhibit bright fluorescence in the visible region, which makes them excellent labels for nucleic acids in PCR, sequencing and array technologies.
This solid support contains non-nucleoside linker which allows more efficient introduction of cyanine dye into 3'-terminus under standard DNA synthesis conditions.
Cyanine dye-modified CPG can be used under standard conditions of oligonucleotide synthesis. Ammonia deprotection can be carried at room temperature for 12 h or at 60 °C for 2 h.
