Primetech Announces New Scientific Advisory Board Member

Primetech is pleased to have Dr Mikhail Shchepinov join our Scientific Advisory Board.
Mikhail completed his PhD in Moscow in 1994 in the field of bioorganic chemistry, focusing on various ways of chemically splitting  synthetic oligonucleotides. He was then at Oxford University developing chemical tools for solid phase-based DNA devices (oligonucleotide arrays, DNA chips), working at the interface of solid phase, combinatorial, dendrimer and fluorophore chemistries. Later in the biotech industry (San Diego, Oxford),  Mikhail has expanded his areas of interest to cover chemical genomics and proteomics and isotope labeling. Several of the reagents he developed are now commercially available.
Mikhail has published on these topics, and has about 90 patents.
