Primetech launches lower prices for isotopicaly labelled mass-tag modifying reagent for metabolomic research - deuterated methyl chloroformate (d3-MCF).
# 0080
This molecule is useful for modification of polar metabolites in biological samples according to the protocol of Smart et al. (1) and can be used for global quantification in metabolomic reseach using GC-MS (2,3).
We also offer MCF (metabolomics grade).
# 0081
Both compounds have the same reactivity in relation to organic acids, alcohols, amines, carbohydrates, and other polar metabolites but every D-MCF tag is 3 Da heavier compared to H-MCF modification to give good resolution in MS analysis.
