Consumer study of LNA

Because of the popularity of LNA in the scientific community, our company plans to start production of the product. 

LNA oligonucleotides are used to increase the sensitivity and specificity in different methods: 

▪ quantitative PCR probes 

▪ DNA microarrays 

▪ FISH probes 

▪ small RNA research and other molecular biology techniques. 

Using LNA based oligonucleotides therapeutically is an emerging field in biomedcine.

 

LNA (locked nucleic acid) locked ribose conformation, that increases the hybridization properties of oligonucleotides. The melting temperature of the duplex increases by 2-8 °C for each LNA unit.
