Nucleoside Triphosphate 15-Azide-dUTP is a 2'-deoxyuridine triphosphate modified at the C-5 position of the pyrimidine ring. The modifying fragment contains the terminal azide group attached to the nitrogen-containing base through the 15-atom linker by a C–C double bond.

15-Azide-dUTP is used for enzymatic incorporation of nucleosides with terminal azide groups into DNA. The obtained modified DNA can be further functionalized via click reaction with alkyne-functionalized label.
